Last night, the Esquire 2023 Men of the Year Awards gala took place, bringing together more than 500 people at the Madrid Casino to celebrate the artists, athletes, and creators who best represent “Man at his Best.”
In this edition, Antonio Banderas, Man of the Year 2023, headed a list of equally extraordinary winners in all categories:

Actors Cristina Castaño and Miguel Diosdado were the masters of ceremony for the evening, which featured musical performances by David Bisbal and José Mercé, as well as a great after-party.
Jorge Alcalde, director of Esquire, served as host and highlighted in his speech:
“This magazine has 90 years of history and has been trying for 90 years to find the exact name of things, the ideal image, the perfect design to tell the values of time. And in 90 years friends like Hemingway, Truman Capote, Dalí, Almodóvar, Vargas Llosa have passed through here, people who know how to use words better than anyone.”
And he continued: “Once a year, we meet to reward those people who make our lives a little better, who make us happier and make us vibrate.”
