In a dazzling event last night, Harper’s BAZAAR officially kicked off Milan Fashion Week with an exclusive cocktail party at the Galleria d’Arte Moderna. The evening was a grand celebration of the brand’s 157-year legacy as a cultural trailblazer, bringing together the global editors of Harper’s BAZAAR, President of Hearst Magazines Debi Chirichella, Global Chief Revenue Officer Lisa Ryan Howard, and President of Hearst Magazines International Jonny Wright.
In her opening speech, Debi Chirichella expressed delight in welcoming the distinguished guests and emphasized Harper’s BAZAAR’s remarkable journey since its launch in 1867. She highlighted the magazine’s role as the oldest continuously published fashion brand in the world, setting and continuously raising the bar for style and fashion. Chirichella also shared the brand’s expanding global presence with 32 local editions, lauding the editors and their teams for their dedication to producing sophisticated content that captivates millions around the world.
The event thanked key contributors including the Hearst Italy team led by Giacomo Moletto, Massimo Russo, Stefano Tonchi, and Robert Schoenmaker, as well as the Hearst Global Solutions team. Debi Chirichella’s heartfelt toast celebrated the past, present, and future of Harper’s BAZAAR, marking a memorable start to Milan Fashion Week.
